RESTAURANT PROMOTION: The Lookout Restaurant and Bar is my very first client in the food service industry, and working on their content always leaves me hungry—the food looks that delicious! Since The Lookout is nestled by a tucked-away golf course, my marketing team and I have been challenged to develop strategies to keep the community informed and remind them that it’s a year-round dining destination.

Fall 2024: When my team introduced the new tagline for The Lookout, "Open year-round because delicious doesn’t have an off-season," it sparked an idea: there had to be more ways to make U of I students and faculty aware of The Lookout as a year-round dining option. That’s when I developed the concept for a short video! With digital screens as a primary communication tool across campus, this 10-second commercial offers a fresh, visual way to spread the word and engage the campus community.

Fall 2024: I was tasked with designing branded social media posts and story templates for The Lookout Restaurant to promote events like Trivia Tuesday, Whiskey Wednesday and weekly specials. The goal was to create user-friendly templates that the restaurant workers could easily update and rotate each week. My role focused solely on designing these assets—I did not take the photos used.
