VANDAL BREW: Vandal Brew, a new café inside the VandalStore, opened with a complete brand identity I had the honor of creating. My work included defining brand colors, establishing the overall look/feel, designing official logos and planning the placement of in-store signage before delivering the final style guide for launch.


Apart from the store branding, the interior design choices are not my work.

STORE BRANDING


Summer 2025: In July, I branded the interior and exterior of Vandal Brew with new signs, frosted window decals and an updated wall mural ahead of opening day. I hand illustrated the mural icons on an iPad to create a custom, hand-drawn look. The design began as a pattern for food wrapping paper, but the client enjoyed it so much, it became the shop’s feature mural!

LOGO DESIGN + GRAPHIC ELEMENTS


SUMMER 2025: The Vandal Brew brand required a unique balance. It needed to reflect the university’s identity while complementing the Starbucks brand it proudly serves. I created a flexible logo system with marks that pair well with the Starbucks logo in various contexts. The branding was also designed to evolve, allowing the shop to expand beyond coffee and baked goods to potentially include alcohol sales in the future. Additional hand-drawn icons can easily be added to the Vandal Brew graphic family to support new offerings.
