VANDAL GOLF REBRAND: In the summer of 2024, I joined the University of Idaho's Auxiliary Services Marketing team as a temporary Graphic Designer. This role allowed me to contribute to several exciting projects, including some rebranding efforts for Vandal Golf.

THE TAKEAWAY: My key takeaway from these projects was the value of stepping outside my comfort zone and exploring fresh ideas. As the first printed assets under Vandal Golf's new rebrand, these designs were a way to set a new standard.

BROCHURE DESIGN

June 2024: One of my first major projects was designing a brochure to showcase the new and improved Vandal Golf Course Sponsorship Program. To meet the goal of a high-end look, I moved beyond traditional brochure layouts and opted for a distinctive square-fold design. This unique approach added a modern, sophisticated touch that aligns with the elevated vision for Vandal Golf.

POSTER DESIGN


Aug. 2024: To inspire support during the Golf Course Improvement Tournament, we created posters that showcased planned course upgrades, helping golfers visualize the positive impact of their contributions. Initially, I found this project intimidating, as I had never worked with landscape changes in Photoshop. But I realized I couldn’t say I couldn't do it—because I’d never tried! Tackling this challenge allowed me to learn new skills on the job, and the experience turned out to be both rewarding and transformative.
